Trauma and PTSD treatment

After a traumatic experience, nightmares, flashbacks, feeling constantly on guard, or shutting down emotionally can linger long after the event. Trauma-informed care helps you feel safe while you heal.

Common signs

  • Nightmares or intrusive memories
  • Avoiding reminders of the event
  • Feeling jumpy, on guard, or easily startled
  • Emotional numbness or detachment
  • Irritability or anger
  • Trouble sleeping and concentrating

Only a qualified clinician can make a diagnosis. These signs are a starting point for a conversation, not a self-diagnosis.

How treatment works

Care moves at your pace. We review your symptoms without requiring you to share more than you are comfortable with, discuss medication options that can ease nightmares, sleep, and hyperarousal, and coordinate with trauma-focused therapy. Veterans are welcome.

Appointments are available in person at our Aurora office or by secure video anywhere in Colorado, including the Denver metro area.
