Depression treatment

Feeling down, empty, or numb for weeks at a time, losing interest in things you used to enjoy, or struggling to get through the day are signs worth taking seriously. Depression is common and treatable.

Common signs

  • Low mood most of the day, nearly every day
  • Loss of interest or pleasure
  • Changes in sleep or appetite
  • Low energy and fatigue
  • Feelings of guilt or worthlessness
  • Difficulty concentrating or making decisions

Only a qualified clinician can make a diagnosis. These signs are a starting point for a conversation, not a self-diagnosis.

How treatment works

We look at the whole picture: mood history, sleep, medical conditions, life stressors, and any previous treatment. Your plan may include antidepressant medication, CBT-informed strategies, lab work when appropriate, and regular follow-ups to track progress. If you ever have thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 right away.

Appointments are available in person at our Aurora office or by secure video anywhere in Colorado, including the Denver metro area.
