ADHD evaluation and treatment
Trouble focusing, losing track of tasks, feeling restless, or running late no matter how hard you try can wear you down at work, at school, and at home. A careful evaluation can tell you whether ADHD is part of the picture and what will actually help.
Common signs
- Difficulty sustaining attention or finishing tasks
- Forgetfulness and losing important items
- Restlessness or difficulty sitting still
- Impulsivity or interrupting others
- Procrastination and time-management struggles
- Symptoms that started in childhood and still affect daily life
Only a qualified clinician can make a diagnosis. These signs are a starting point for a conversation, not a self-diagnosis.
How treatment works
Your evaluation reviews your history, current symptoms, and how they affect daily functioning, using validated rating scales alongside a clinical interview. If ADHD is diagnosed, we discuss stimulant and non-stimulant options, practical strategies, and how other conditions such as anxiety or sleep problems may be playing a role. Follow-up visits monitor benefit, side effects, sleep, appetite, and blood pressure, and adjust the plan as needed.
Appointments are available in person at our Aurora office or by secure video anywhere in Colorado, including the Denver metro area.
