Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you use the San Integrative Psychiatry website.

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.sanintegrativepsych.com (the “Site”), operated by San Integrative Psychiatry PLLC (“San Integrative Psychiatry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms cover use of the website. If you become a patient, your care is also governed by the consent forms, financial policy, and Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at intake.

Information only, not medical advice

Content on the Site, including descriptions of conditions, symptoms, treatments, and medications, is for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for an evaluation by a qualified clinician. Symptom lists are not a self-diagnosis tool.

Do not start, stop, or change any medication or treatment based on information on the Site. Always talk with your own health care provider about your specific situation.

No provider–patient relationship

Browsing the Site or calling or emailing us does not by itself create a provider–patient relationship. That relationship begins only after you complete intake, agree to treatment, and attend your first evaluation, and after we agree that our services fit your needs. We may refer you elsewhere if another level or type of care would serve you better.

Not for emergencies

San Integrative Psychiatry does not provide emergency or crisis services. Messages, emails, and voicemails are not monitored around the clock. If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself or others, or in immediate danger, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Eligibility, location, and telehealth

Our services are intended for people located in Colorado, where our provider is licensed. Telehealth visits are available only when you are physically in Colorado at the time of the visit, and you may be asked to confirm your location. We see children, teens, adults, and older adults. A parent or guardian takes part in care for patients under 18. A parent or guardian must consent to treatment for a minor.

Telehealth requires a reliable internet connection, a device with camera and audio, and a private location. If a connection fails or a visit cannot be safely completed by video, we may reschedule or ask you to come in person.

Appointments, fees, and insurance

Fees and accepted insurance plans described on the Site are provided for convenience. They may change and do not guarantee coverage. You are responsible for confirming your mental health benefits, copays, deductibles, and any prior-authorization requirements with your health plan.

Cancellation, late-arrival, missed-appointment, payment, and refund policies are provided in writing at intake and apply once you become a patient. If you are uninsured or not using insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges under the No Surprises Act. See Insurance & Fees for details.

Prescribing decisions, including whether to prescribe any medication and especially controlled substances, are made only through clinical judgment after an appropriate evaluation and in line with state and federal law. Booking an appointment does not guarantee a particular diagnosis, medication, or result.

Communications

When you contact us by phone at (303) 304-5795, by email at info@sanintegrativepsych.com, or by fax at (888) 649-7004, you agree that we may reply using the contact information you provide. Standard email and text messages are not fully secure. Please do not send detailed health information through them. By providing a phone number or email, you agree to receive appointment-related communications such as scheduling confirmations and reminders. You may ask us to stop non-essential messages at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site. That includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, introducing malicious code, scraping it in bulk, impersonating any person, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos, and photographs, are owned by or licensed to San Integrative Psychiatry PLLC and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or use third-party websites and services, such as Google Maps, Google Fonts, directory profiles, and government resources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement.

Disclaimer of warranties

We work to keep information on the Site accurate and current, but the Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Information may change without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, San Integrative Psychiatry PLLC and its owners, providers, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or any rights you have as a patient under Colorado or federal law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless San Integrative Psychiatry PLLC and its owners, providers, and staff from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Accessibility

We want the Site to be usable by everyone. If you have trouble accessing any content or need information in another format, call (303) 304-5795 or email info@sanintegrativepsych.com and we will help.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
